Does anyone have any opinions on a program called uniblue/registry scan? It supposedly found 127 errors on my computer but only fixed 15 of them. Of course it wants me to buy the full version to fix the balance of errors it found?

Why pay money for a program when you can get the job done with a free program?  ;D

Note the top two icons on the left side--Cleaner and Registry. Do both.

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

Yup,I have ccleaner and run it nearly every day. When you go into task manager and then into processes i have 39 programs active. Im sure some of these shouldnt be running. This uniblue says it will deal with the things like svchost exe. of which mine shows 8 different ones in the process tab. I have windows xp 64 bit operating system.

Did you seek this program out, or did it just pop on your computer?

Sounds like one of the malware anti-virus virus programs that have bugged several. Once connected to them, hard to shake loose from them.

Have had three grand children fall claim to this malware, and takes a while to get them cleaned out of the computer.
When it popped up on mine, I didn't do anything except power down the computer. When powered back up, the malware was gone.

Not sure uniblue is the same. Just sounds similar way the malware popped up.

Click on the right side (Download) , not the left side (Registry Cleaner).

Warning:

Don't use Google to look up "uniblue".  >:(

I did and one of the first five links (don't know which one) put a virus on my computer--it pops up in the center of the screen and wants to scan your computer. I just hope that MalwareBytes got rid of it .

Dang! It just popped up again. Very insistent that I  download their software.

Well, something seems to have worked. No more pop-ups. Whew!

And yes, I do have AVG running and updated, but the virus slipped by it. Also updated Malwarebytes to 9/01 version.
