I have mine through a company in oneida. Costs me around $1200 a year for liability, fire and theft. That also covers my saws and my sawmill also. Are you gonna get comp. too? That costs around 2 grand up front and 1400 a year through NY lumbermens trust.

I don't know what coverage you are looking for ! You should be able to get coverage through your homeowners or business commercial policy. I have a 580 case backhoe that I have through my homeowners policy that covers fire theft and vandalism on my own land.

Odds are a skidder is not going to be used on your own land. Of course there are the exceptions, but the lion's share of skidders are used for some sort of commercial logging stumpage purchases.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

Mine is a commercial policy. It covers anywhere I go. I usaully contact the insurance company before every move and give them an address of my next location and they mail the landowner a copy. I had to get a million dollar bonded policy before I could do contract work for Ballies. I wouldn"t log without it, insurance covers your rear and the landowners if something should happen.
