saw doc in virginia?

anyone know where i can get a couple saws pounded here in Virginia? i've heard tell there's a traveling one around!

Alderman's doesn't hammer large saws. large being over 30"  they will ship your saws to north Carolina and get them hammered. it's a six hour drive to the place to where they hammer them.   still looking for a closer place. thanks for the lead though!!!!!

Thanks for that update WPL.  I use them with my Lucas blades and have been pleased with their service.  Didn't know that they had a size limit.

Try Reed's Saw & Tool in Lynchburg.  I take my Lucas blades, my table saw/miter saw blades, jointer and planer blades to them and they do a great job at a fair price.

contacted reeds saw and they are able to help me out! they are only 2 1/2 hrs away.  thats alot closer than the rest i've found!       thanks hokiemill!!!!!!

Reeds Picks up and delivers once a week for us but we are only an hour away.  they may have a truck going through your area.
