Saw Dr.

This place gets better every day!!

Do you have any extra 143 full-wrap bars up there Lee?
I don't try to explain to others why I play with chainsaws.  For those who already know, no explanation is needed.  For those who do not, no explanation is POSSIBLE!

OK, well I won't bother bidding on the next one that pops up on Ebay then....

What's your latest project?  I'm pretty much buried in little ones right now.

Hi Lee, i have a 1010 McCulloch in nice shape, very good compression, it will run with gas squirted in the carb, fuel line must be bad, this has a Tillison carb on it.
What is it worth?

Probably about $25 not running.  Maybe $35 if it has a good chainbrake on it.  Those saws are worth far more in utility value than in dollars.  Running ones seldom bring more than $100 unless they are mint examples.  Sorry for the bad news.

That's about i thought it was worth, i think I'll get running and give to the grandson. It'll make a good firewood saw. I  never used a McCulloch in the woods, the saying used to be if you bought a McCulloch you had to buy a new car first, so you could get to town to fix it.
The first saw i ran was my Grandfather's 33 gear drive McCulloch i was 9 yrs old, my god what a piece of art. It would start when it was cold. Once it was hot good luck, my brother and me would use dads pickup, go in the Avenue of Pines, find a nice clump of Birch and load up [ $3.00 ] a pickup load. [ 1957 ] They'd put in jail now

Hey Lee

Good to see you over here,

That 153 keeps putting a smile on my face (ear to ear).

Made some awesome dawgs  out of 10 gauge stainless, and gutted the muff off my 152 to put on her.

Have a 50" Cannon coming next week, will post up some pics (if I can remember how)
