Double Warranty by using Stihl HP Ultra

It's been awhile since I've been here, so forgive me if this has already been posted.  I saw in my local newspaper an add from Stihl, and in fairly fine print it said that they would double the warranty of your new equipment if you buy a 6 pack of HP Ultra oil at the same time.  I can't remember if it applied only to non-pro use or non-pro products, but for us non-pro types it's a good deal.  That sort of sealed the deal on the new blower I've been looking for.

when i bought my ms250 saw last summer i got double warenty buy buying the oil which i think only cost around $6

I recently bought an MS200T and tossed some Ultra on the counter at the time of sale. The salesman told me it was a good time to buy the oil as it increased the warranty on the saw.

It doesn't seem to be a very well advertised promotion but not a bad deal!

I got that warrenty when I bought my Stihl FS46 trimmer a few weeks back.

Is that warranty for a logger or an occasional user?

Up here Stihl only gives extended warranty on occasional use.

I doubt they are offering that for a logger. Seems like when I bought my Husky the warranty was half as long because I was a "professional" as they called me.
