Hi folks
I am a new member who has just purchased a wm lt40 super (year 2000). I find the hydraulics on the head very fast so spend a fair amount of time getting the proper board thickness. One solution I have thought of is to purchase a Simple Set from Woodmizer. Has anyone used this  device and to what success? Thanks Jim.

Hello,
You have a few options, One is Simple Set works, One is Accuset 2, One is change the pulley and slow the up down motor speed. There was some issue with the Super mills and the new Setworks, I think they have come up with a brake to keep the head from drifting 1/32. Accuset 2 would be the best and would be an investment. Speed change would be the least investment.
I have not installed any Simple Setworks on the Super mills, They work well on the Standard mills.

Jim, with more practice you will find that it will get easier to stop the head on the marks. If I don't saw for a few weeks on my super I have trouble putting the head on the marks, but after several minutes of cutting, I can hit the mark on the first try most times. I have simple set works, but only use it on the opening side cuts.

Jimm,

Welcome to the forum. I have the Simple Setworks on my Lt40HG25 and it works well. Not sure how it works on the supper.
