Toolbar that foats down page on iPhone

Hello

Lots of great changes to the forum since I have been gone for a bit, everything looks great, and I am glad to be back learning so much from this place...Thanks Jeff (and others) for everything you do

I spend the majority of my time here viewing this forum on my iPhone, mostly because in our rural area all we get for internet access is some very very slow dialup service.

I noticed that there is a toolbar that floats down the page, that just appeared (I presume) the other day.

The toolbar floats through every post, and almost always ends up in the middle of my screen, blocking out text and pictures. Almost everytime I go to try and press a button hoping to find one to disable it, it floats away down the page.

I did a quick search, and did not find anything, is there away to turn this little toolbar off?...It is driving me crazy.

Are you using the Mobile version of the site or the Full version?  I use the Mobile version on my iPhone and am not seeing the issues.

If what you are seeing is the Cometchat toolbar for the full site, you can turn it off by clicking on the "close this bar" link.

If it's comet chat bar, it won't show in the mobile view. I'm still experimenting with it (Cometchat) and am not at all sure if I am going to keep it. The floating on the iphone is something I would like to know more about. Specifically if you can or can not disable it on the right end of the tool bar. There should be a link that says close this bar. If there is no way to disable it on the mobile or tablet in normal view, I''ll get rid of it.

Well the toolbar seems to be gone tonight, it was there this morning

I did not change any settings on my phone, and I am using the full site.

anyways ...for whatever reason things are back to normal.

I've disabled it for now, until I have a way to test it first hand.

I 've been seeing  it on my droid when viewing the full site also, couldn't shut it off either. Just thought I'd let ya know

All you have to do is refresh your page. That has been disabled for two days now.
