hello, does anyone have or has anyone seen the norwood [logosol] 410 log moulder? it says its adaptable to woodmizer mills but do they mean the smaller twin rail models or will it work on my lt 40 super? thanks

moosehunter

My impression is that you need the twin track rails for it to work on. Wood Mizer also sells one an it only fits on thier 10 series.
I'd love to see one work or hear an owners opinions.

I think the Woodmizer planer/moulder is for LT-15 track.

hello, i called norwood,, they dont handle the log moulder anymore. they said to call logosol ,the manufactorer of the moulder. i did ,it only works on a twin rail mill.

I would dig a little deeper as you wm is twin rail, just not twin rail for the saw head.  Seach Logosal and Woodmizer europe, you may find thats its been done already.

I was going to buy one but got a great deal on a ph260 so thats where my money went. I did make a few calls to norwood last spring and was led to believe you could build your own track from angle iron

Well even the vdeos shows it, the moulder is sitting on a seperate set of tracks, no different then when i take my millhead off its oem tracks into is house, nothing more than scaffold cross braces on timbers evelated to the same height as my oem rails/frame.
