Don'tcha love it when that happens!  When I ordered my 1400, the leadtime was quoted as 5-6 weeks.  It ended up being 3.  What did you order again?  It was a 2000... right?

Christmas in August! Good luck with mill, and post pictures.
There are no problems; only solutions we haven't found yet.

It is the 2000. The driver called and he says to look for him @ 8:00 in the morning.

Since I retired I really like work: It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

Sounds great. Take 2 sawdust laced sleeping pills and the morning will be here real quick. bg

The mill showed up at 8:00 am just like the driver said. It took a few min. to set it up then we loaded a 30+' river birch log on it. It handled it with no problem. It is a little learning curve from anything that I have run so far. The day ended up with a FULL truckload of wood and enough red oak to do a friends 50 Chevy pick up. I am tired and VERY happy. I turn a lot of bowls and things like that and so I have had sawdust in the blood for a while. Thanks for all the help.
