I attribute my smarts and good looks to eatin' grits.   ;D

I guess that I like corn any and every way that it can be cooked.   Cornbread, grits, hominy, hushpuppies, whole cut, creamed, cob, heck even popped.

I just don't drink it or like it in my gasoline.

I use to eat cornbread until you told me it was like grits.  ;D  hushpuppies I only had a few times, another one off the list of things to eat. That really brings it down to just now just popped now.

Things that make you go hummm.
Reading about all these GRITS comments has got me wondering.  Last week I made a batch of maple syrup dumplings.  This is where you cook heaping teaspoons full of batter in boiling maple syrup.  What would GRITS taste like cooked that way?  Hummm  Gerald

Another good use for grits besides killing carpenter ants is to throw them on a iced sidewalk for traction.

I don't think they would hold together.  Corn pone with cane syrup is powerful good though.
