sawmill head and log bed adjustments

Hello all, 
   First time sawmill owner here! Just finished assembly on our Woodmizer LX55 and made our first cut. Unfortunately the sawhead isn't pushing freely over the log bed. It is leveled all the way around, so I can only assume that its a tad out of square. What is the best way to adjust the roller bearings on the sawhead the travel over the log bed?

Check the bed for square using a string and also check for parallel.

Is it tight all the way or just in certain spots?

My Timbery has the same track. Pull a string line down both rails to be sure it's perfectly straight. If you have to adjust the roller bearings you will have to take the carriage off and take both assemblies off the bottom. Then you can loosen the nuts on each bearing. You will need to set each assembly on the rails and push the rollers against the track while holding the assembly square with the bed. Then re tighten the nuts and make sure they roll freely.

Thanks everyone! I pulled strings on each side as suggested and that solved our issue. We are still getting use to sawing. We have cut quite a few logs now and today it has thrown me a new issue. I set the next log to be cut on the mill and the edge cuts came off nicely however the next 2 cuts seem to be either high or low in the middle. I double checked that both ends of the log were set at the same height on the bed with a tape measure but it still doesn't come out straight.  Help please!

is it lifting due to stress in the tree, in the middle?  try cutting a series of 1/8th or 1/4 inch slices.

From what I can tell and everything I have researched about it ,then it seems to be the tree itself. We tried a different tree and had no issues. Thanks, guess I w still cut it into boards to hang in my barn since I prefer the old natural look instead of " the perfect cut".
