We had a nice visit today with Gerald and Mike before they headed off to find the border into Idaho. Barb and Mike had lots of common interests so they didn't have to spend much time listening to Gerald and me talking lumber, logs, and sawmills.

Sorry, no pictures -- we were busy visiting. I know, I know, no pictures it didn't happen. But there's a bottle of very special Vermont Maple Syrup on the counter here as evidence.

This was nice to read.  It sounds like Gerald is following some of the footsteps that PatD and I made a few years ago when we visited you & Barb.  move_it

Yes, and it was raining when they arrived, just like when you visited :(.  It did clear up before they left, though. Hopefully they had good weather for their drive South.

Well I had the pleasure of some Sunday afternoon visitors, Gerald and Mike stopped by. We had a great visit and some good laughs, AND I ended up with some maple syrup too! They're pointed towards Canada now👍

BB:
I'm sure glad the idea of a picture was yours.  I'd hate to have been totally responsible for messing with OG's little brain.
Oh by the way, I enjoyed all visits with FF members we met up with.

This is my second attempt at this entry.  Don't know what happened but all of a sudden I lost everything I had written.
We got home Saturday afternoon and the truck trip odometer said 12,428.5 miles.
We are still recovering from the trip, especially in the sleep catagory.
The damage here from all the rain has been minimal, as in minor water damage to the driveway.
We did meet up with a FF member's Organic Doorbell and the best huckleberry planter.
Thanks to all for the good wishes.
This morning for a change it is raining.
The garden this year was 48 tomatoe plants and with all the rain they got blight.  Don't know yet if we will get any.
Again thanks for all the good wishes.

P.S.:  When there is a computer and me involved the problem is usually between the chair and the keyboard

Good to hear you all made it home in one piece! 8)
Under bark there's boards and beams, somewhere in between.

That's a lot of miles, glad you got home safe!

So, 12,428.5 miles -- 1.5 miles short of half way around the planet (through the poles).
