Hermatitis is where one feels a deep sense of isolation and starts listening to country music and wont answer the phone or socialize .  :D :D :D

Hey Murf, I like your Boat names. Here is a picture of a boat I go lobstering on quite often. It too has kind of a funny name. In fact here on Muscongus Bay, people don't know the Captain, by name, but they sure know the name of his boat!

Finished (will paint or varnish yet) the saw scabbard for the tractor, and it (for the most part  :) if you don't see the one 'goof' ) looks like it will work well and not slip or let the saw fall.

Beenthere, sorry, couldn't resist the look when you mentioned the 'goof'. The goof is.....you'll have to put your left arm to work now!! :D ;D :D

Well I used to have hobies like fishing and hunting but with my job and two small girls the house that we are building ourselves and sawmilling plus being on the local volunteer fire dept. who has time for anything else. the one thing i still like to do even though its related to my normal job is teaching wildland fire courses. It's a good feeling to be able to impart some ability to stay safe in the woods to the next generation of firefighters. ;D

Either that or just put the saw in upside down ..........

Reload to shoot, shoot to be a better hunter, hunt to be in the woods and provide for the family.  THEN...I discovered bullet casting.  Now I drive around with buckets in my car looking for tire dealers who will fill said buckets with wheelweights.  I then melt the ww down, flux, and pour ingots.  Later on, the ingots go into the casting pot then into the bullet mould.  After they cool, I stick a cool little gascheck on their bum, lube and size.  Pretty cool to shoot your own bullets.  And yes, it's a sickness!
