has anyone ever fixed the bolt that holds the blade cylinder to the upper frame by the side screen   does the bolt go all the way through to the inside or does it screw in this has been fixed before and it was welded but the weld has broke and the bolt is starting out and have about 2in of up/down play  any info would help

It goes all the way through. I think it's 6.5" or 7" long. Rebuilt one of the cylinders this winter, and had the choice of pulling the tire or cutting the bolt. Grinder won. Ran the new bolt from the motor side out.
