Hey I've got an older ctr belt drive buck saw that's not Oiling can anybody tell me anything about how it works I've took lines off and whatever the line coming from the tank goes into "can't quite see it under there" is not letting oil through. I'm assuming it somehow let's the oil through when the bar goes down but I've never worked on one and can't find any paper work on it especially with no model number anything from somebody with some experience on this would be much appreciated

Typically on a CTR there is a bar oiler that pumps the bar oil using a piston that is moved back and forth with pressure reduced hydraulic from the bar up and bar down. It makes one pump each time the bar goes down . The is an adjustment screw on the end of the oiler  to adjust amount if oil dispensed.  Also remove the line from bar oil tank to oiler and oiler to saw bar and make sure there are no debris clogging up the lines.
