Some more Old Husqvarna time, this time the saw came from South Carolina; THANK you "maintenance manager" and it's a little different then the first L77 I used late fall last year. This was a Tomos built Type 65 that had a L77 top end and cover grafted to it. Basically some ones hop up kind of like putting 50mm OE 372 cylinders on 48mm OE 365's

Understanding the lay out of the saw and antivib isn't modern, it's light weight and pretty snappy!

Very nice, I like the snow thrower in the beginning of the video.  Great job dropping that large (oak?) tree.  Your L77 seemed to be running and cutting well.  What were you lubricating with the WD40 just before installing the recoil starter cover?  I assume something inside the recoil or cogs, it appeared to be something on the inside of the starter cover?

No you had it right, just the "pole" the recoil it on and the pawls . Rugged old beast :)
