I grew up watching the Red Green show (which was filmed in Canada). I also grew up spending time with relatives in Canada. I will tell you this, it was not a comedy, it was a DOCUMENTARY.

That is the truth. Peto, pronounced "pee-toe" had a door yard full of such endeavors. Was always an education to be at his place.

Never heard of him until about the 2000. I use to wear suspenders at work.
Red ones. A couple guys kept teasing me about Red Green.
First one I watched, was him putting a V8 motor into a row boat with duct tape!!!
What a guy!!!!

:D He is entertaining. I remember him duct taping 9x12 west coast mirrors to a rusty old van so he could back a boat trailer, it was hilarious.

My buddy and I relate to Red Green. I recently painted a trailer green. Then I painted the winch red. We call it the Red-Green trailer.

I have to admit, Red impressed upon me that sometimes you have to think outside the conventional box. ;D He got yer creative juices flowing, not that it would always work out better. :D

Back in pre history (1961) we used a two man chain saw (maybe Diston) at summer camp. If it didn't make a man of you, it would seriously make you rethink your choice of professions.

Yes, cousin Red is an embarrassment to the rest of the family because he went off and got famous and did good for himself but he don't send no money home to the rest of the family. :( >:( Everybody has a few black sheep in their family but most of us don't hold that against them. ;)

I have a friend that buys duck tape by the case. He gives Red Green a run for his money. Named his hunt camp Possum Holler.

We used to watch him alot in the 90s because he was on one of the only two channels our rabbit ears would bring in. He was on PBS and they broadcast out of cmu, which is only about 30 minutes away.
