I am accumulating a large pile of bark from the Ash trees killed by EAB as I drop, saw and cut firewood from them.  The thick, heavy bark comes off in big sheets. Is there any particular good use for it or should I dump it in the woods?  Mulch for berries or wet areas on trail or ??

I first started burning it in a pit while I was splitting, but that's more work and smokey. I found that if you stack it and dry it, covered, you can throw it in the stove like cordwood and have be4en burning the bigger sheets that way this winter during the day time. The smaller stuff just gets ground up from driving over it. But is has to be dry, then it will burn hot with BTU value.
