MP360 Powerfeed motor

At the beginning of September a few days before I headed off to Turkey and Georgia, I was finishing up a large planing job and the feed motor smoked and died. After 5 years, stuff like this can happen.  I contacted Salmon Arm Woodmizer to get a replacement. They didn't have one in stock anywhere in Canada so I was hooped. Contacted the customer and explained my situation. He told me to have a great holiday but would need that lime by October 17. I get home on th 14th so I figured I'll just
replace the motor and finish the job with possibly a day to spare. Here's the meat and potatoes. Woodmizer could not supply the motor for some reason. No availablity anywhere. I explained  to Gary at Salmon Arm Woodmizer my predicament just yesterday. He and his crew pulled a brand new feed motor off a machine they have in stock and are sending it to me, should arrive the day I get home. I think that's pretty special. Situations happen on both sides of the counter that sometimes can't be controlled. These guys stepped up to the plate and knocked a home run for me.  I'm a happy customer. 🙏🙏👍👍

Percy, I can relate to your issue. Early this past spring I was having issues with my LT40...turned out to presumably be the ECM. While waiting to troubleshoot and obtain parts, our nearby WM dealer (Howie's Saw in Thunder Bay) went well out of their way to help. Even offered to send me their personal mill to get my orders cleared off. Service like that has become a thing of the past it seems. Thankfully I was able to source engine electrical parts fairly quickly in order to get rolling again. . 

Things like this are why I've bought 3 new Wood-Mizers without ever looking at other options.
