husky stihl bar length compared to cutting distance

Just using 20 inch for this , 562 running a husky 20 inch bar compared to a stihl 500i running a stihl 20 inch bar , the stihl cuts over a inch more wood with both running 72 driver chains

Stihl 25" and Husky 24" are both 84dl. I think the Stihl bars are longer and thinner.

the crank is more forward in the crankcase than a stihl , I am running the small dog on the huskies just to gain that little bit  of bar length, another thing is the stihl bar is abit thinner at where the bar goes on the saw towards the gear, Bar ends up maybe 1/4 to 3/8 of a inch longer
