66° and some wind and some sun.
Maybe 75 for a high.
Not a great swimming day but a great day to get things done.

Ray,

I too took advantage of the nice weather. Greased the Tractor and processor this am, then did a cord of wood.  Hooked up the bushog and got 1 pasture done and another half done.  Delivered the cord, then fired up the grill for burgers, dogs, kielbasa, and Chinese sausage!

I felt like I was king of the barn swallows when I was on the bushog!  Started with a few and before you know it there was over a dozen, swooping, and banking.

King of the barn swallows!  That's got a nice ring to it.
Yes, those barn swallows love all the bugs that get kicked up from the brush hog and lawn mower.

90's here today, and humid. Just nasty. I guess it would be nice if I could spend the day at the lake, but I'm out hustling bundled firewood🥵

I love watching the barn swallows swoop and dive. On one occasion I was out cutting hay in the evening on an open tractor and had about 30 of them following me up and down the field. It's amazing how close to you they will fly when you're stirring up a smorgasboard for them!

July 4th was a beautiful day here in NH. Under 70 all day and nice breeze. It's been pretty warm and humid for a while around here. Finished up a band sharpening order early and decided to spend the rest of the running my mill and dulling some of my own bands for a change. The mill ran great and I got some hemlock milled up to use on my saw shop expansion project. Just have to take advantage of these low humidity days once in a while.

It's nice today to, but warmer by 5:00 pm @ 85°. By 8:00 pm it was 75°. It's not humid at all here today, but I think it's coming Sunday. No A/C on and windows up and a nice dry breeze upstairs coming in. Bluebirds singing and tippy (red fox) barking in the back yard. Maybe calling her two pups to the den. No barking now.
