Posting for sale ???

do you need to be authorized ?

There used to be a sticky thread there stating the rules and requirements for posting stuff for sale.  I think there may have been a minimum post count, or you had to email Jeff B and ask permission.  He just doesn't want guys registering solely to sell stuff.  He wants you to be a bona fide contributer first, and a seller second.  PM him and ask.

Yes, there is now a "programmed in" level of participation before one is elegible to post a for sale item. I got rid of the strong "anti spammer" language in the sticky thread in favor of simply changing the qualifying permissions for the commerce boards.
