Resawing Blades

For resawing lumber, I'm researching which is better. Skip tooth or hook tooth. I imagine more TPI means smoother cut, but takes a little longer.

On standard shop bandsaws you want more teeth per inch for resawing. I assume its similar to bandsaw mills but if you have a surface planer around it might not matter much.

I keep a good selection of blades for all my shop bandsaws

it really dont take much time to change them, espec if you aint got lots of marks to remove after

but unless i need a VERY good job on the cut, i use whats on and feed accordingly

Sorry forgot to say that about 6tpi is the most used on dry stock
upto about 4or5" deep, after that the gullets aint deep enough to clear the amount of saw  dust produced
