How long would it take to dry 400 bdf CVG Douglas Fir in a DH kiln.  Boards would be 8/4 X 6" and 8 feet long, end coated.  What would be the best starting temperature?

As long as it takes, Steve. ;D  In all seriousness, it could well be a week.

I have never dried any, but what you brought a few days ago.  I got the new needles for the tester today and will test them again tomorrow.  I will let you know what the level of moisture is on the morrow's  reading. ;D

Oh, by the way, when will you be able to get the four gallons of paint here? 8)

Not 4 gallons,------ 4 each four gallon buckets i.e. 16 gallons and I thought you wanted 8 buckets if I can get them?  How many acres are you going to paint?

When I get there!

I'm low bidder on the fir at $2.75 / ft.  Oops!
