Could not log on

I have been having issues trying to log on to the server and if I got on, it was slow loading. I defragged, I ran the spyware and anti-virus, I thought dark thoughts about the provider as I called tech support.
Then I noticed a light flicker on the modem. The input connection was loose ::)
