The Timber Framers Guild will hold their 22nd Annual Eastern Conference on November 9-12, 2006, at Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, in Roanoke, Virginia.

I will be attending the conference as well as one of the pre-conference workshops.

If you'd like to meet up one good place and time is Friday night at the trade fair mixer reception.
I'll be wearing my FF hat so look for me, if you'd like to chat.

I'll be there.  Coming in Wednesday night and staying at the Comfort Suites Inn over in Salem.  About 6.5 miles from the conference.  Which one of the pre-conference workshops will you be attending?  I'll be at the Timber Frame Engineering workshop.

Don't have a forestry forum, so I'll have my Woodmizer hat on.

Did a little research on the best breakfasts in the area and one jumped out at me, The Roanoker Restaurant, 2522 Colonial Ave, SW, Roanoke. They're known for their grits and red eye gravy.  It's about 2.3 miles away from the Double Tree.   I plan on being there about 0630 Friday morning.

It would be a big mistake to rely on my memory (as my wife keeps reminding me : : :), but I think the workshops start at 0800.
