December 1982, a little before Christmas.  I was TDY in Fairbanks.  I got to drive a 3/4 ton 4WD with a snow plow around.  I made it up to North Pole, Alaska.  This is looking down Santa Clause Lane.

Hurricane Francine has been sending heavy cloud cover and light drizzle the last couple of days. For some reason we had gorgeous sunsets with the cloud cover.

Lots of refuelling going on over head the last few years.

Last week.    Looking back it was almost two weeks ago, they were returning from refuelling the doomsday plane heading to Europe.
