Sam will also be at a couple of events on the two days preceding but I don't have details.  Chance to meet one of the best.

I would like to attend but it seems impossible at this point in time. 
Larry, making useful and beautiful things out of the most environmental friendly material on the planet.

We need to insure our customers understand the importance of our craft.

I would love to spend a year or two working in his shop. Who wouldn't eh.
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

Ironwood

I met Sam and his new wife last fall at the Western Design Conference. Great old guy. His demenior was very fun. Nice to see a guy his age still getting around. I also saw the Exhibition at the Renwick Gallery a few years ago. He is an American icon, go meet him if you can. He also spoke of being VERY open to visitors to his recently moved shop/ museum.
