It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others

Or you could have left some TP streaming out under the door and a sign that says:

Caution : Stay back 400 feet.

I don't think you would have had many tailgaters.

Be funny if you had put a large tank of water right between the outhouse and the bed and set a valve on it to leaking slowly.  Especially on a dry day.

Or a chunk of dry ice in the outhouse.

The window is for lookin' out. The moon is for peekin' in.  :D :D
I am sure there will be alot of stories of this outhouse for years to come. The grandkids already think it's a playhouse. Boy, are they going to get a surprise. I am taking it back to the cabin tommorrow. I think I'll wait till church is letting out.

When my family lived out in a cabin in the valley back in '86 and '87, we had no electricity and no running water.  Lemme tell you...  using an outhouse at -65 F with nothing but crumpled up newspaper to uhh...  clean up, is a religious experience.  The outhouse seat was made out of blue foam board.  Wonderful stuff.  Warms up the instant you touch it.

To see that stopped on the side of the road with steps leaning on the tailgate leading to the door would be hilarious. :D

Here's another timely picture. ;D

When I was young there were still alot of outhouse around this area. We had a two stall in the back yard, my brother burnt it down. My Grandma had an outhouse till I was about 15 yrs. old. I remember digging a new hole and sliding the house over on it. She had a pee pot in the house to use at night, then in the morning some lucky kid would have to dump it and clean it. :( I was alway afaid a snake would crawl up to the hole, so speed was of the accents when in the outhouse. I have been in some job johnys that I wish were as clean as Grama's. My son was at the races and brought back pictures of job Johnys, you would not believe. What a bunch of pigs.

A common practice, back a few years, was to have the woodpile located near the outhouse. The women folk that were a bit more modest would go out to bring in a "few sticks" for the stove.
