How do you adjust the engine speed on the Kohler 25?
I want to slow it down a little. Bob

I take it you are wanting to adjust the full rpm speed a little Ill take a look at My 30hp Kohler on the Lucas as It runs at 3600rpm wide open if its like the other motors I have adjusted it should just be a set screw with a lock nut on the throttle linkage I take it you only want to drop it a couple hundred rpm and what type of mill is it on Mate ;) ???

Hello,
I have attempted to slow the engine RPM down and lowering the Surface Feet Min. with just the adjustment of the governor. I found out that when this happened I changed the RPM and SFM but had no power at this RPM. So the correct way would be to change the pulley to get the correct SFM and keep the engine at the max torque rpm.
Just my opinion.
