how to set pulse timer help needed!!

I have an early model Eclassic 2300.  I bought and installed the pulse timer but have mis-placed the instructions.  there are two little dails.  One to adjust the pulse duration and one to adjust the time between pulses.  Which dial does what and which way do I turn each to adjust?

Stumper,
The "on" knob controls the length time of pulse of air while the "off" knob controls the amount of time between pulses of air.
Turning "on" clockwise increases length of pulse air time and turning "off" clockwise lengthens the time between air pulses.

I've had mine set as follows: "on" at approx. 10:00 and "off" just shy of halfway or 12:00. I've never lost a fire even during the 80 deg. plus weather of a few weeks back.
