  Wanted to share some art work I saw at the Deming logging show this last weekend located in north west Wa.
Whidbey Woodworks and Custom Milling  2019 Cooks AC 3662T High production band mill and a Hud-son 60 Diesel wide cut bandmill  JD 2240 50hp Tractor with 145 loader IR 1044 all terrain fork lift  Cooks sharp

One of those crosscut saws would look good over the mantel of the Cabin Addition.  (When I ever finish it.)

It's Weird being the Same Age as Old People

The cross-cut saws bring back memories. We had to use them to cut firewood for our summer and hunting camps in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. (no motorized vehicles, tools allowed).

My memories are felling and bucking Black Locust fence post.  We left them in the woods to dry until the next year.  We would then carry them out before sawing next year's post.
