i have heard that walnut trees are dying from some bug. is this true.

South of me they have found the walnut twig beatle which in the end is the thousand canker disease. I don't know much about it but I often wonder what we will have in years to come.

I checked out the article. In the area where I am cutting firewood, I have found that green fungus on downed black walnut. I thought it was part of the rotting process. Looks like i may have a problem :'(

I had not heard of anything killing it near me except chain saws. I cut a semi truck load of it this past week. That is the coldest work I have ever done! Thank you Carthartt for the warm clothes.
