Ran across this on Youtube.  This thing is 100M tall.  Wow.  Looks like all wood laminate construction.  The alignment of the plates in kerf cuts is hard to comprehend on that scale.  Really cool.

Interesting. Looks like lots of labor compared to steel components.

Didnt appear as tho the wood was treated for rot resistance

A cost comparison with a conventional steel tower would be interesting to see.  Granted, I'm sure that labor and assembly costs are still higher than they should be as it looks to be a bit more complicated than the steel towers...not that I know anything about them!
