I agree about the quarter sawing. We had a lot of degrade in the flatsawn stuff, and any way, it's boring, so we try to avoid sawing any.

Small logs will spin, Unless you go slow and they still might.

I don't know the date yet but rumor has it that there will be two people there with propeller booths set up displaying there fine craftsmanship.

Alright I can take a hint. I have been informed that I must find a log. I just can't figure out why someone else can't bring a log. (hint Danny)
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

Alright I was talking with Dang last week and he had a brilliant idea. I think for the next project we will do a quarter sawing demo on one log and then do some pine after lunch. The pine will be a two fold demo. One for the best ways to get 2X lumber out of a pine log and then a few more for the best way to get production out of a mill. Does this sound as good to the rest of you folks as it does to me?
