Welcome to the Forum watch the back stops  and have fun I sure am

Yep, it didn't take me but about two weeks before I tried to cut a backstop in half. Bad thing was I had just replaced my blade. Trashed after.

I doubt that anyone has ever cut into a side support or log clamp with a dull blade.   ;D

I got my mill in and got it all set up. It's been raining here all day I put it together in the shop and will move it outside later. A guy down the road gave me a cedar log that he has had laying in his year for a few years so I could try out my mill. Oh and I love it, can't wait to get more logs

@POSTONLT40HD  He won't be the only one. I think I saw a line forming over there near Perry Ga.

Jake, you will have to adjust the belt in short time. I might have about 20 hours running time on my Woodland. Had adjusted it three times and needs it again. Already see I will need to replace the belts. :'(

Also I broke one of the clamps. Wasn't welded all that good. I'm really thinking of building a better clamping system. Maybe something that I could screw in towards the log.
