Does anyone know what the bolt pattern is on the wheels of an lt40 super?
Tire size?

Thanks

Mine are six bolt. The same as the 6,000 pound Dexter axles on my landscape trailer. I think they are a 235/75, but not sure if 15" or 16". I can check tomorrow. I think the spare for the trailer was a 7.50 16, and it was tight on the loading arms. DanG tire only had 210 miles from WM to work, then 5.6 miles from work to my house when I bought it, but that didn't slow down the forklift fork. :D

It wasn't sleeting too bad, so I walked over to the mill and checked. 225/75/15. I have a 235 replacement on the other side, couldn't find a 225 at the junkyard.

My dexter axle book says the 4100 to 6000lb axles with leaf springs are mostly 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern.  Don't know which axle you have, but WM does use Dexter on some of their mills.

I'm pretty sure it's Dexter. There is a Dexter parts book in the WM owners manual. It does look like a 5.5" six bolt pattern. My spare wheel was in a snowbank, so I couldn't measure it.

The next weight class axle up from that is 8 on 6.5 so good chance 6 on 5.5 is correct, lugs are 1/2"-20

I'm pretty sure it's 6 on 5.5". I can dig that wheel out tomorrow. I know when you go up to an LT70, they use a rim clamp wheel. All I know is that if you have a flat on your F350 with hub pilot wheels, and somebody loans you a standard 8 lug Ford wheel, two brutish people kicking simultaneously on each side of the wheel can drive it over the lugs on the hub piloted vehicle. :D

Hello,
Not all LT70's use the same wheel and tire. There are many different sizes and wheel types. Year, walk with mill and command control mills all may be different.
