Yesterday my 9000 pound tractor attacked my wimpy 12 pound chainsaw, Jonsered 2054.... :-[

The unprovoked encounter left the poor little Jonsered
with a broken Kickback Handle. All other vital signs seem to be good... ;D

The broken part is the all plastic part that is right in front of your hand (the horizontal piece ).

??? It looks like it could be cemented back together, if so
what would be a good strong cement to hold this or would
it be safer to buy a new piece. Part Number seems to be
#506-08-37

Kevin

You might be able to buy a used one from one of the guys on here that works on them or maybe a local dealer.

JB Weld cures a lot of aches. If that does not work,  new handle is in order. If no Jonsered dealer handy, a Husky 353 part might work.

Buy the replacement, new or used.  I'd never trust a repaired anti-kickback between me and the chain of a saw.
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!

I agree with minnesota your safty is worth the cost of the new part. Buy a new part or maybe give the money to your local hospital  ::) seems like an easy choice to me. :)
It's better to have it and not need it. Then to need it and not have it.

I guess it is open season on chainsaws :D :o
