If anyone is driving to Alaska and willing to carry a 72" table saw rail let me know. I've been wanting to order one for my saw but the shipping to Alaska is prohibitive. It won't take up much room, just a box about 6 inches square and 72 inches long but it is considered over sized by the shippers. In return I'd be happy to let you tail the sawmill for a day or two. ;D Seriously though, I'd hook you up with some Alaska goodies.
I was young and dumb once. I got over being young a long time ago.

Have you tried PAF, their rates are sometimes crazy cheap compared to lynden or caryle.
Another possibility is contact Fairchild transportation, one of their drivers would probably bring it up at a fair price with a grocery load.

Thanks. I didn't think about Fairchild. What is PAF. Is that Pacific Air Freight?

I think it is pacific Alaska freight, but not 100% sure.
I heard last night that Fairchild either closed down or sold out in the last few days, I just talked to his dad 10 minutes ago and intended to verify the rumor, but totally spaced it. lol

This is kind of an older topic, but if you haven't found what you're looking for yet check with Dave Snyder (the owner of Diversified tire) I know he is ALWAYS running back and fourth from the states with his old Kenworth.

Is his Old kenworth as slick as his old mack superliner??
