has anyone ever had any problem with the drive motor on an lt28, if so could u tell me what it was doing, mine will speed up  by it self then slow down,     any help will be thankful    peter

Sound like it may be the brushes are worn "almost" out!

Then it could also be an old "hardened" drive belt!
