Before we bought our property, a wildfire came through and torched some ponderosa pines and douglas firs enough to kill them but not burn past the bark. Has anyone had any luck bleaching blue stain in white pine. A little blue is ok, but some of the timbers are black. Thanks.

Hello Everyone!

We have 50 acres in the Catskills, pretty much all woods. There's lots of downed trees, pesky trees (mainly beech that are infected) and some invasive species that need to get pushed out.

The ground is rocky, uneven, mossy in many places...

My question is what would be the best tractor for the job? (I thought about a skid steer, but determined it will not handle this type of terrain). It would be nice to drag logs through the forest if needed/wanted. Read More
