My Moms maiden name was Lanoue, and we were told we were French Canadian.  My daughter is named Monique Sherri after aunt Mona and my mom, grandma Sharon (passed).

I can trace my family names back to the first ones to come from France on both my mother's (arrived 1651) and father's side (arrived 1691) other names go back to Port Royal 1604.

If someone has in their family tree the last of Deveau they may be related if it is d'Entremont we would very likely be related. Of course there are various spellings.

Yeah, on this new Windows 11 laptop, I get those national day notices on the search bar every day. Today it brings up 'supermoon'. There's an average of 4 every year, so I don't see any big deal over that one.   :huh?  It might matter to someone sitting at port on ocean front I suppose or in a storm on the coast. They are saying here that coffee is going to take a jump up in price because of drought in Brazil. I thought when a commodity was grown around the globe in different  countries it buffers prices a little. We'll see I guess.

As a kid in the 70s, I remember a big freeze in Brazil that made coffee prices jump. And they never came back down. Just another excuse to boost prices.

Locally coffee goes up and down. Brand I buy will be $12 a kg jar for awhile, then $16 for awhile, then drop down to $10, then up to $14. Same can at same store in Quebec is usually $2 a can cheaper, sometimes $4 difference. We are beholding to central Canada for everything. Never used to be that way when I was a kid. Most of the old companies are pretty much gone and dried up from here. Next generation living off old money and never worked.
