Jeff

Here is a closer view of the rendering for the trunk side.

At first glance, I thought the stripe should be a shade or two lighter. But the more I stared at the renderings, the more it grew on me.

I tried lighter, white, gold, and was almost ready to give up. The white just screamed mustang. Don't want that. She's a Lady.  ;) :)

I really like the darker stripes in your first pics.  Connotes a certain elegance and power.

I even got a second opinion.  ;)  By far the first is the most elegant.

I personally think you should let me study the car, in person, for at least 10 or 12 years, that way I can be certain, I'm kind of a perfectionist that way you know  ;D.  Seriously though I really like the looks of the first pictures.

POSTON WIDEHEAD

I'm impressed more that you have the talent to pre-paint your car on your computer to see what it will look like.
Pretty cool I think. Run with it Jeff.  :)

Happy to see you stepped away from the hot pink,  ;) :)

I really like the gold, but the tone on tone is just so elegant, it steals the show.   :)

I have  to vote for the first pictures. The lighter colors seem to  be to distracting when looking at thr car. :)

I threw all the original ideas out and came up with something different but real close to Reply #175. Here is a sneak peak before clear coats. :)

And this is a link to the fellow doing my pinstriping before clear.

Jeff

Our local community college MMCC has a picnic fundraiser every year that includes a car show.  It is this coming weekend.  Tammy and I had planned to go, but as it turns out, Tammy will be going by herself.  I made a promise to Pete that when ever he felt like going to the cabin, I would be there for him. This weekend is Michigan's "Liberty Hunt" a two day early whitetail firearms hunt for 100% disabled Veterans. Pete is eligible to hunt, and is feeling up to going if I can help him, so that is where I will be. Leaving in the Morning.  I hope that one of the only deer left in the U.P. finds a path in front of Pete this weekend.   We could have hunted elsewhere, in fact @Corley5 was going to fix us up with a place for Pete, but He really just wants to be on his own piece of land, whether he gets a deer or not.

There'll always be another car show, your plan sounds much more rewarding for the two of you.  Have fun and best of luck with the hunt!

Sounds like the right thing to do Jeff.

You are absolutely making the correct decision Jeff.  Spending time with your "Brother" is priceless.  I wish the best for Pete during his hunt.

But Piney's bunch are "ole", not old.  There is no age requirement for doing good deeds.   8)

Jeff

I went by the painter's and got my first glimpse of Hoopty in her just sprayed clear coats. There is no way to take any photos at this point of how awesome she is going to look. Rob (the painter) tried, I tried, it will have to wait until she is done and outside in the light. I've decided, that she is going to be re-christened with a more befitting name. Hoopty was an initial derogatory name that she does not now deserve.
